Michael Bahnken

September 4, 1935 – November 8, 2024

A wonderful and loving man born in St. Albans, Queens, New York to Grace and Henry Bahnken. The youngest of 9 children, he was a loving son, brother, husband, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1965 and was a proud patriot.

He married his devoted wife Lois (nee) Meehan July 3rd, 1969. They were each other’s lifelong love, married 55 years.

Mike lived on Long Island most of his life and in the Villages, Florida for sixteen years before returning to Long Island with Lois to be closer to family.

He enjoyed antiquing, golf, and watching football and boxing, but most of all, spending time together with family and loved ones.

Mike will be forever loved and never forgotten.
