Michael Anthony Stankunis

Stankunis, Chief of Department Michael, 52 of Bohemia passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 surrounded by loved ones after his battle with cancer. He was a fighter until the end. His loss will be felt by many, but his presence will live on through all his services in the community. Michael is survived by his two daughters, Lauren and Kaitlyn Stankunis and many family and friends that love him.

Reposing Moloney’s Bohemia  Funeral Home 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, NY.  where a Firematic Service will be held Sunday, 7:30pm.   Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 AM St John Nepomucene R.C. Church in Bohemia.  Interment  following Bohemia Union Cemetery. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
