(Matthew David Sheil) Suddenly on 3/28/2017. Matt loved people, animals, and life. He loved to talk. Everyone’s story interested him. Time spent talking easily made you his friend. Out of high school he worked in Manhattan for Jimmy Miller booking and managing recording time for music videos, at the time known as/for “MTV”. Although his lifetime work was predominately as a carpenter, ending with very detailed work in Finish and Trim carpentry, he also worked as a first mate on a fishing boat in Montauk, for many years. This was another of his favorite jobs.
He was married to Teresa from 1998 through 2002, and was a very proud and loving step-dad to Hannah and Kristian. He is survived by brother; Christopher, and sisters; Marianne and Lorraine. Predeceased by brother; Richard. He leaves behind many loving family members, and friends who became his family. We will miss your great sense of humor, easy laugh and kind disposition.
