Matthew Anthony Saper

On Sunday, March 1, 2020, Matthew Anthony Saper, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 28. Matthew was born on April 14, 1991, in Stony Brook, New York to Laurie and David Saper. Matthew was known for his kind heart, his smile which lit up every room he walked into, and his infectious laugh. Matthew valued his relationships with his family and friends above all else and was always there when someone he loved needed him. He is survived by Laurie Saper, David & Sheryl Saper, his loving siblings Rachel, Jennifer & Alex, Leah & James, Jonathan and Evan, his two nephews Julian and Aiden who were his whole world, grandmother Renee Saper-Gold and Harvey Gold, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Peanut, his four legged best friend. There will be a service to celebrate his life on Saturday March 7 at Moloney’s Holbrook Funeral Homes in Holbrook, NY between the hours of 2-4:30.
