Maryllyn E. Johnson

Maryllyn Eileen Johnson (Lynn) 90, passed peacefully at her home in Holbrook, NY surrounded by her children on August 30, 2021. She was born November 5, 1930 in Ridgewood, NY to the late Michael and Charlotte Landmann. She married her soulmate, the late Edward H. Johnson, on July 31,1954. Predeceased are her sisters: Geraldine Snelgrove and Doris Smith. She is survived by her children: June Johnson, Russell Johnson, Edward Johnson, Lynda Murphy (Denis), David Johnson (Mary); her grandchildren: Russell Johnson, Jaclyn Murphy, Taryn Murphy Choufani (Elias), Ashley Johnson, Heather Johnson, and Lauren Johnson; and her nieces. She was a senior clerk typist for Suffolk County, NY for 20 years retiring at 68. Throughout her life, her generous heart volunteered at the Blind Center, was the coordinator for the Cub Scouts, and President of the PTA. She was an avid reader and loved to sew.
A service will be held on Sunday, September 5 at 11 am at The Church of the Four Leaf Clover in Hempstead, NY.
