Mary P. Baran

Mary Patricia Baran of Hauppauge, NY passed away peacefully on April 23, 2022 with her family by her side. Mary was born March 15, 1940 in NY, NY. She was a devoted wife to Paul J Baran III for 61 years. Loving mother to her children and their spouses Paul J (Janice) Baran IV and Mary Baran (Charles) Janowitz. She is survived by her two brothers John (Janet) Meehan and William (Kathy) Meehan. She had 5 grandchildren, Paul J (Ashley) Baran V, Nicole Baran, Courtney Janowitz, Samantha Janowitz and Allison Janowitz. She is predeceased by her parents Sinon and Mary Meehan.

Mary worked as a registered nurse, graduating in 1961 from St. Johns School of Nursing. Mary enjoyed life, cruising and vacationing but most of all, enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Her favorite past times were reading, playing cards and bowling.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Moloney’s Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge, NY 11788. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 AM Friday, April 29, 2022 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 115 Kings Hwy. Hauppauge, NY 11788 with a burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery
