Mary Elsie Goris

GORIS, Mary Elsie of Coram, NY and longtime resident of Syosset, NY passed peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2022 in her 99th year. Mary married James W. Goris, her beloved husband, in June of 1949. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband and her sister Margaret Hackett. Mary is survived by her brother Lawrence C. Green, her two loving children, Suzanne M. Goris and James W. Goris Jr., her four cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa), Patrick (Casey), James III and Thomas (Keri). She was loved greatly by her five great grandchildren Lillian, Alexander, Ethan, Colin and Brody. Mary was a longtime member of the Rosary Society and Our Lady of Mercy Church in Hicksville, NY. Reposing Moloney’s Holbrook Funeral Home, 825 Main St. Holbrook, NY where a religious service will be held Wednesday. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am St. Margaret of Scotland, Selden NY.
