Marta Norma Cruz

Our mother, Marta Norma Cruz, sadly passed away this past Monday morning, February 26th, 2024 at the age of 80 after a long battle with Parkinson’s. She lived a long life and in the end she was surrounded by her immediate family of loved ones. She passed quietly and comfortably Monday morning. Services for family and friends are planned for Sunday, March 3rd from 2-6 at Moloney Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station so that we can gather family and friends to honor her life. Our mother Marta Cruz is survived by her loving sisters Sara and Blanca Torres and her brother John Torres. In addition she also has three children, her son Curtis K Cruz and (former spouse Kaycee Montero -formerly Cassandra Cruz) and her second born son Eric Cruz (and her daughter-in-law Sue Volkman), and her daughter Elisa A Cruz – formerly Elisa Bogen (and her partner George J. Van Dorn). Her three darling and sweet granddaughters Jessica Bogen, Brooke Bogen, and Alexa Volkman will surely miss their beloved Grandmother! Thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences.
