Marie M. Pitarch

Marie Madeline Pitarch, born on February 22, 1945 in New York City, transitioned at the age of 76 on June 20, 2021.  At age 5 Marie moved to Yonkers New York with her family.  Her mother and father Mary and Thomas Polcha, along with her 4 sisters Virginia Dabney, Ann Gobert, Irene O’Conner and baby Irene. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament in 1964 and married The Late Frank Pitarch.  Marie and Frank had a plumbing business shortly thereafter, where Marie not only ran the store but also learned about plumbing and repairs, allowing her to do small jobs herself.  They maintained the business until approximately 2004 and were eventually divorced. They remained good friends and attended family functions and holidays together.

Marie and Frank had two daughters, Francine Pitarch and Kim Siciliano (Michael). She had two step daughters, The Late Debbie and Tammy, as well as Barbara who Marie treated like her own. Marie leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with other extended family that she loved and cared for with all her heart, as they were all very special to her.

Marie was a beautiful woman, a wonderful, loving mother and a caring friend.  She was an extremely selfless, sweet, and loving soul, she would do anything for anyone sacrificing her own needs.  She had a strong faith and trust in God. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.  Marie will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.  We know she is now free, reunited with her family in heaven. Ascended into eternal peace where one day we will all be together again.
