Manfred A. Weppler

Manfred A. Weppler, 84, of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away on October 5, 2022.

Manfred, known as Fred, was born in Ochsenfurt, Germany to Willi Weppler and Maria Leuerer where he grew up with his siblings. When he got older, he emigrated from Germany to New York where he started as masonry waterproofer. He later supervised the construction of the first developments for Story Book Homes finishing his career as a supervisor (and Union Member of Roofers Local #154) at L Martone & Sons Roofing.

Fred met and married Maria Schleimer 58 years ago and started a family. Fred will be remembered as the cherished father of Peter and Lisa, father in law to Steven and Rosemary and devoted grandpa to Karl, Glenn and Cody. Fred could never sit still and always wanted to be busy, even if that entailed golfing or bowling.
