Madeline M. Farrell

FARRELL – Madeline M. (nee Di Martino) of Bohemia, NY. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, formerly of Washington D.C., Manhattan and Huntington Station, NY. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of her late husband, Desmond P. Farrell, and proud mother of her late son, Vincent. Devoted daughter of the late Vincent and Amalia Di Martino. She is survived by her loving children; Anthony(Linda) of Bohemia, Leo (Marsia) of St. James and Daniel (Rose Anne) of St. James.  Also survived by her adored grandchildren; Lauren, Meghan, Julia, Brian, Paul and Leo. Graduate and Valedictorian of Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross, Washington, DC., with graduate studies at Columbia University, NYC. Former longtime employee of Lambda Electronics in Melville.  Dedicated and faithful member of the Ministry at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia.  She enjoyed her family, pets, world travel – including family trips to visit relatives in Italy; cooking, reading, history as well as discussing and debating current events and politics.

Reposing Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia NY. where a religious service will be held Monday.   Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:45 am  St. John Nepomucene RC Church, Bohemia.  Interment private Calverton National Cemetery.  Visiting Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
