Lucy Mckeever

Lucy McKeever, 66, of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away on March 3, 2020. Beloved wife of Brian for over 46 years. Devoted mother of Alanna McKeever (Christopher Useo), Tara McKeever, Nicholas McKeever (Andrea), and Adam McKeever. Cherished grandmother of Elijah and Asher. Loving sister of Phillip DeGruccio (Antoinette), Rosemarie Jabour (John), Nicholas DeGruccio, Bobby Brucato (Lori), and Sherri Coral (Scott). Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

She was, is and always will be remembered as the greatest, most loving mom/wife/nana/sister/aunt/friend anyone could ever wish for. She was always by our side with open arms and unconditional love through good and bad times….and we know she will continue to be by our side.

Even though these last few years have been tough on her, she found the strength to keep moving and live on. We all have so many memories to cherish of her love and spit fire ways. To her family, and many others, she made sure to always say “I love you” and blew us a kiss when we left for the day or said goodnight on the phone. She would always say “call me when you get there” no matter how far we traveled even if it was across the street. Yelling on the sidelines at every soccer game, loading friends and family up with candy, spending time in Lake George, Outer Banks, Cape Cod, going on a cruise ….she lived and had a smile on her face almost every day. I would have to say though, she was the happiest being around her grandsons. They made her light up. She let them get away with everything and snuck them toys and treats without their mama knowing.

She will forever and always be in our hearts. ❤️
