Born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 19, 1930, he was the son of the late Tilyou and Antoinette Ferrari and brother to the late John and Camille Ferrari. Louis was a proud alumnus of Haaren High School. He honorably served in the Korean War for the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1952, a period in which his dedication to his country was deeply instilled. His post-military career was marked by remarkable achievements, notably as a Program Manager at Grumman Aerospace. There, he was instrumental in NASA's Apollo 11 LEM project and the F-14 program, both milestones in aerospace history. Known for his sharp wit, unwavering diligence, and generous spirit, Louis will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Joan Ferrari; his daughter, Lois Ferrari; and his son, David Ferrari, along with a legacy of integrity and commitment that touched all areas of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in Louis's memory.
