Loretta Carson

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Loretta Carson.

Loretta was a loving wife of 58 years to Charles Carson. She was a devoted mother to Charlie; Kelly and her husband Joe; Cathleen and her husband Bobby; Patrick and his wife Elyssa. Loretta adored all eight of her grandchildren: Emma (15), Charlie (14), Joey (13), Carson (11), Brooke (11), Claire (10), Mollie (7) & Emersyn (7). Loretta also had two siblings, Sr. Mary Jane Coleman and Terry Coleman (deceased).

Loretta was born and raised in Queens to Elizabeth and Matthew Coleman. She was a devoted daughter who called her mother every day until she passed at the age of 93. Loretta was also a devote Catholic that attended mass each Sunday.

Loretta dedicated her life to her family. Spending quality time together was very important. She made sure to have homemade dinners each evening for the family to share together and talk about their day. Every birthday, holiday and special occasion was marked with a celebration she orchestrated to make each of her children feel loved and special. 

Loretta and Charles spent much of their older years together visiting their children, attending grandkids events and enjoying time at their family home in Sag Harbor.

Loretta will be sorely missed by her family and remembered for all the love she showed them every day.
