Kristy Danielle Walker

Kristy Danielle Walker was welcomed into heaven on September 25, 2017. She was born on September 19, 1985 in San Antonio, Texas and was lovingly adopted. In reflection of Kristy’s life, it brings us joyful memories, encircled with the love and smiles she shared so freely with all of her family and friends.

Kristy enjoyed writing, drawing, dancing, listening to music and visiting with her large and loving family. She was surrounded by friends and enjoyed many different social activities. Kristy traveled a lot throughout her years and loved spending that time with her family. Kristy was a resident of the Independent Group Home Living program (IGHL) on Long Island and worked full-time at Smiles Farms at IGHL.

Kristy is honored in loving memory by her father William R. Walker III, her mother Kerri Crawford and their spouses, Carol (Derx) Walker and Kenneth C. Crawford, respectively. Kristy is survived by her sister Michelle Damiecki and husband James and their two daughters Madison and Abigail, her sister Kaitlyn Stanley and husband Brian, her sister Heather Strait and husband Joshua and their children Joshua and Bailey, her sister Jennifer Delgado and husband Mitchell, her sister Kallie Crawford, and her brother Justin Walker and wife Oliva and their daughter Charlotte. She is also survived by her grandparents Dolores Walker and Donald and Reta Derx.

Visitation will be at Moloney-Sinnickson’s Funeral Home, in Center Moriches, on Thursday, September 28, from 2:00 – 4:00PM and 7:00 – 9:00PM. Her funeral service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of the Moriches, in Center Moriches, on Friday at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Kristy’s honor, to the Independent Group Home Living program (ighl.org).
