Kristen Marie DiPaola

Kristen "Krissie" DiPaola, 55, of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice. Krissie brought joy to all who knew her, reminding us of the happiness found in life’s simple pleasures, like enjoying pasta and ice cream. 

Born with a kind heart and full spirit, Krissie cherished family time at home as well as visiting grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and her nieces and nephews. She loved camping trips, Disney World, skiing and summer days spent at the beach on the Long Island Sound. As an adult, she found joy and companionship at the Maryhaven Day Treatment Program, where she loved lacing cards, coloring and activities with her peers and teachers.

Krissie is survived by her loving mother, Frances Marie DiPaola, her devoted father, Richard Edward DiPaola, her sister, Kimberly Ann LaPointe, and her brother, Kenneth Richard DiPaola, and her beloved nieces and nephews, Tomas and Micaela LaPointe, and Ethan and Elizabeth Rose Roberts.

 Visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th, at 10 AM at Moloney's Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station, NY. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Maryhaven Center for Hope. 

Krissie will be remembered for her love of life, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
