Kevin S. Mckiernan

Kevin McKiernan of Farmingville, New York, passed on April 5, 2022. Kevin was an admiring son of the late John McKiernan, Anne Sturek, and Anthony Sturek, the loving husband of Josephine McKiernan, a proud father of Kathleen, Samantha, and Bailey McKiernan and the loving brother of Lori McLinden, John McKiernan, Michael McKiernan, James Sturek, Robert Sturek, Dorothy Savery, Anthony Sturek, and William Sturek. Kevin was adored by his many nieces and nephews and was a friend to all who knew him.

Kevin retired from the New York Army National Guard as a Colonel in 2016 after proudly serving his country for 38 years. He was an avid runner and an active member of the New York Road Runners Club.

Kevin was always available to help anyone in need. His kindness and tremendous sense of humor will be missed by all.

Please bring your favorite “Kevin Story” written down for his family to enjoy in the future. There will be designated time during the services to share the stories aloud.
