Kelly Ann Adams, a vibrant spirit born on January 18, 1974, in West Babylon, departed this world suddenly and unexpectedly on August 28, 2024. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories, woven with laughter, love, and an indomitable personality that brought joy to everyone who crossed her.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing will forever remember her as the light in any room. Her laughter, a melodious echo, could be heard from a mile away, spreading warmth and happiness to all. An outgoing and free-spirited soul, she lived life with tenacity and a spark that was uniquely hers. Nothing delighted her more than singing karaoke and making people laugh, her spontaneous nature igniting bonds that will endure beyond her time on this earth.
Kelly's greatest treasures were her beloved grandchildren, Luci Trahan and George Fabozzi Jr., who brought her immeasurable joy. Her children—Tiffani Trahan, George Fabozzi, and Camille Fabozzi—enjoyed a mother whose love was fierce and unwavering. Her heart was a vast expanse, cherishing her family, from her devoted mother, Anna Vasaturo, to her brother Ralph Adams and sister-in-law Karen Adams, to her beloved nephew Irie Adams and niece Gianna Adams. Each family member was a precious thread in the fabric of her life, and she loved them deeply.
Her family was intertwined with a community of dear aunts and uncles, including Anthony Vasaturo, Bridget Vasaturo, John Vasaturo , Thomas Travolina, John Travolina, Suzanne Travolina and Yvonne DiCarlo, and many more, all of whom are left to remember her with fondness, and the laughter she brought into their lives.
Although Kelly grieves the loss of her grandfather John Vasaturo and her nephew Trent Adams, her spirit remains a guiding light for those left behind. Her outgoing nature and care for others over herself will continue to inspire and uplift. They welcomed her with open arms.
For those wishing to pay their respects and share in their collective love for Kelly, a visitation will be held on September 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Moloney’s Port Jefferson Station Funeral Home, where friends and family can gather to remember the irreplaceable spirit of Kelly Ann Adams. A prayer service will also take place that evening at 8:00 PM and on September 6 at 10:00 AM, followed by her burial at St. Charles/Resurrection Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
In every heartfelt chuckle, in every bittersweet song sung, Kelly's essence will continue to resonate, reminding us all to embrace laughter, love fiercely, and live life to the fullest. She will be missed beyond measure, but her spirit—the embodiment of fun, eccentricity, and warmth—will forever remain etched in our hearts.
