Joseph F. "Joe Hutch" Hutchinson

Hutchinson, Joseph F., Joe “Hutch”, 94, formerly of Brooklyn and Franklin Square, NY, passed peacefully in his home in Ridge, NY, Sunday, December 4, 2016. Devoted husband of the late Mary Hutchinson (Nee Horan), and the father of Robert (Gina), James (Patricia), the late Daniel, William (Lizabeth) and Maryann (Michael Cunetta). He was “Pop” to his twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Joe served in the 366th Medical Battalion in the European theater during WW II. He was an avid fan of the NY Mets and played softball in the Long Island Senior Softball League until the age of 88. Joe was a lifetime member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 4, supporting such shows as The Bell Telephone Hour, The Kraft Musical Hall and Saturday Night Live. He will be missed by all who knew him as the fun and loving Patriarch he was.
He left his heart in San Francisco.
