John Michael Fay

John Michael Fay, devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away on January 22, 2021.

John was born December 21, 1945 to John P. and Colette T. Fay in Brooklyn, New York.  He graduated from Bay Shore High in June of 1964.  After attending Suffolk Community College, he enlisted in the United States Navy.  He retired as Detective Sergeant from the Suffolk County Police Department after 32 years.  During this time, he also was a member of the East Moriches Fire Department.

John is the beloved husband of Doreen; loving father of Ryan Fay, Erin Bielski and Meghan Kretz and father-in-law to Megan, Eric and the late Kevin.  John is the devoted brother of Patricia Lissandrello, Colette Bruno, Linda Gordon and the late Maureen Fay.  He is the cherished grandfather to Delaney, Patrick and Molly Fay, Jack Bielski and Kevin and Cormac Kretz.
