Joan Wallace

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, Joan Wallace, loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at age 71. Joan was born on January 3, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to James and Edna Wallace. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and Master’s degree from St. John’s University and was a Medical Technologist for 38 years.

She is survived by her children, Matthew and Laura Schieferstein, her grandson Lucas, her brother James, her sister Jean and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home. 840 Wheeler Road (Route 111), Hauppauge, NY 11788.
