Sicignano – Joan Ann of Central Islip, NY on October 31st, 2022 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Michael. Loving Mother to Patrick (Monica), Anthony (Kim), and Carolyn Buscemi (Frank). Loving sister to Anthony Valenza and Loving sister-in-law to Rosa Flora. Devoted Grandmother of Frankie, Michael, Virginia, Sophia, Alexa, Gabby, and Joseph. Loving Aunt of Anthony, Michael, Mitchell, Marianne.

Joan was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She particularly loved spending time with her Grandchildren. Her other true love was her Art Work. She took great joy in painting Long Island landscapes. Whether it be a Landscape or a Portrait, Joan had the unique ability to see only beauty, joy, serenity and peace in all that she painted.
