Jeanne lost her valiant struggle to cancer after a decade-long battle.
Born and raised on Long Island, Jeanne left the state to pursue her education. Earning her Doctorate in Education from WVU, Jeanne eventually returned to Long Island serving as a School Psychologist for the Patchogue-Medford School District for over thirty years. She loved her family, friends, reading and travelling.
She is survived by her husband Michael Cuozzo, daughters Laura Bartasek and Meghan Aceves (Bryan), grandchildren Michael and Brianna, siblings Sr. Mary Hughes OP, Donald Hughes, Barbara Crane (Edward), Rosemary Hughes Rebetti (Robert), Elizabeth (Betty) Hughes, Nancy Ritter (Scott), Margaret Ryan, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
