Jaime Baldassare

d. February 4, 2021

Over the years, Jaime , a retired Suffolk County corrections officer, dedicated himself to community volunteerism by previously serving on the Mount Sinai School Board, as past president of the North Shore Youth Council for 10 years, former vice president of the North Shore Colts and has volunteered at local fire departments since the age of 19. Jaime previously served his community as Assistant Chief 2009-2015, and most recently as the Chief of the Mount Sinai Fire Department from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, he has volunteered with the Heritage Trust, Park and Community Center since its inception over 20 years ago. He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Lori, his three children, Katie, Jesse, & Cody, his brother George and wife Patti, his sister Suzanne and husband Joe, and many people he touched throughout his life.
Jaime’s life of 62 years was cut short by COVID, he had so much more life to live. He was looking forward to spending time in Florida in the house he just finished having built with his wife Lori, and his 3 car garage to enjoy his motorcycle, 32 Ford, and even his golf cart.
