James W. Connelly

James W. (Jimmy) Connelly, born September 10, 1954, passed away on January 24, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lori, son James and wife Jeanette, son, Justin, and daughter, Kelli.  Proud “Papa” to six grandchildren, Giana, Amara, Jack, Brayden, Bella and JJ.  He was born in Jackson, Mississippi and was raised in Texas.  He was very proud of his Southern heritage but adapted to life as a Northerner in New York. He was the epitome of a Southern Gentleman.  Everyone who knew Jimmy, loved him.  He had a smile that could melt your heart.  Jimmy’s wishes were to be cremated and put into the ocean as a reef ball memorial.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
