James R. Curto

James R. Curto of Yaphank, NY on August 4th, 2017 in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of 26 years of Barbara.  Loving father of Frank Curto (Dawn), James Curto (Nancy), Deneen Curto (Brian), step-son Chad (Jennifer) and step-daughter Tara (Brian) and loving grandfather of Cory, Jimmy, Frankie, Ryan, Ava and Bristol.  James worked for 38 years at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a senior technical specialist and was a devout member of the Eastport Bible Church.  Always active, James spent his retirement years gardening and volunteering through his church.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “The Bridge Project,” Eastport Bible Church, 386 Montauk Hwy., Eastport, NY 11941.
