James J. Munro

James J. Munro of Ronkonkoma, NY, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2021. He was born September 16th, 1942 in Bayshore, NY to parents, James and Elizabeth (McCarthy) Munro. He served in the United States Air Force from 1960-1966. He married Theresa (Webb) on November 28th, 1969 in Ronkonkoma NY. He was a produce manager with Wallen’s IGA in Bellport, NY for 30 years. James was an amazing man who was loved by all and one of the strongest and hardest working man you would have ever met. Family was always his top priority and he lived life to the fullest through them. He enjoyed every second he had with his three children and six grandchildren. He is reunited with his wife, the love of his life, Theresa. He is survived by his three children Veronica (Russell) Flanagan, Melissa (Thomas) Diez and James (Marlena) Munro Jr., his sister Bernadette (John) D’Onofrio and his six grandchildren Russell, Matthew, Jonathan, Theresa, Angelina and Alexander.
