James David Langhorn , father, grandfather, great grandfather , great-great grandfather, great-great-great grandfather bus driver and proud veteran passed away on December 26, 2023. he was born on July 25, 1925 in Brookhaven NY to loving parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic. James peacefully departed this world surrounded by his cherished family.

James joined the United States Army and served during World War II. He then embarked on a career as a bus driver for the MTA. James Langhorn will forever be remembered for The Good, The Bad and The Ugly 😄. He is survived by his daughter Betty, son Butch (James W.), son Rocky (Jeffrey), son Anthony, son Jon, daughter Claudia and daughter Darlene. He is also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, all of whom will continue to carry on his Legacy. He is predeceased by Rose Langhorn, Elizabeth Hutchinson, Margery Langhorn and Ingeborg Jorif.

Friends and community members are invited to pay their final respects and provide comfort and support to his grieving family during this difficult time.

James will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
