Irene L. Kelly

It is difficult to sum up the life of our mother "Irene Kelly". She was a beloved and respected mother of 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She instilled the importance of family and modeled what it is to be a wonderful Mother & Grandmother! 

She made sure to make everyone feel special! She spent her final years living at Atria Assisted Living in Bay Shore where she made a countless number of dear friends with staff and residents! 

Our Mom spent her life devoted to rescuing and protecting animals including packing her car with food, water, blankets and homemade cardboard houses for shelter even if it meant putting herself in jeopardy to do so! 

We will miss her dearly but knowing that she is reunited with our dad brings us all peace! We love you Mom so very much, you were the BEST!
