Helen Mallazzo

Helen Mallazzo aged 69 formerly of Arizona and New York, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her daughter, Megan’s home in Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jeanette Lynch; daughter, Kelly Mallazzo; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Pickard. Surviving are her children, Megan (Oliver) Romano of MI, Shannon Mallazzo, Kristen (Christopher) Strohsnitter, and Thomas Mallazzo all of NY; grandchildren, Ava, Oliver, Antonio, Alexander, Mackayla, Giulia, Vincenzo, Giada, Lucas and one on the way; brothers, Thomas (Jonnie) Lynch, William (Elaine) Lynch; nieces Donna Lynch and Cathleen Lynch-Linkenauger; also surviving are the father of her children and dear friend, Richard Mallazzo; her lifelong best friend who was like a sister, Janet Beck; and her beloved rottie, Apachi. Helen was an X-Ray/CT Technician at Peninsula Hospital for 32 years before retiring and moving to Arizona. Helen spent many years as a German Shepard breeder, she enjoyed showing and being with her dogs and horses, she also enjoyed camping, boating, and being in nature. Funeral services for Helen will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 in the care of Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd (Rte. 111), Hauppauge, NY 11788 where a religious service will be held Monday 7:30PM.
