Gunter Mehlinger

Gunter Mehlinger passed away on December 28, 2018; He loved watching sports and talking about sports, soccer was his favorite but also enjoyed football, baseball and hockey, he said “it doesn’t matter who wins as long as it was a good game” he loved coaching baseball and was also an umpire for the high schools.  He also loved to sit on his boat “Tasha” and have his coffee. He would bring the biggest Christmas tree home and he made the best turkey and stuffing and also enjoyed having a glass of German wine.   He was in the Air Force stationed at Montauk Point, after the Air Force, he became a Tool and Dye Maker and  worked hard toward owning his own shop. He enjoyed life and we will miss him every day.
