Giuseppa Balsamo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppa Balsamo, fondly known as Ma, who peacefully left this world at her home on the 9th of August, 2024. She was born on the 5th of October, 1940, in Carini, Sicily.

Giuseppa's life will be celebrated in a series of services to honor her memory. Visitation will be held on the 12th of August, 2024, at Moloney’s Port Jefferson Station Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station, NY, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by another visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass in remembrance of her life will take place on the 13th of August, 2024, at St Gerard Majella CCD in Port Jefferson Station, NY, starting at 10:00 AM.

Known for her quiet strength and unwavering love, Giuseppa was a pillar of her community, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, and her legacy of warmth and generosity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Giuseppa leaves behind a devoted family, including her living relatives. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. Their loss is immeasurable, but they find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over them with love from above.

In honoring the life of Giuseppa Balsamo, we remember a woman of exceptional grace and dignity. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her journey. May she rest in eternal peace.
