Gail M. Flores

Gail M. (Mallen) Flores Beloved mother grandmother, sister, aunt & friend passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson, NY on November 20, 2023. Gail was adored by family and friends. Her children Pedro Jr, Catherine, & Gail Flores will treasure and stay true to their Mom’s legacy of love, strength, kindness and generosity for eternity. Gail was a devoted grandmother to Michael, Matthew, Julia, Reese, & Angelina and second Mom to many. Gail is at peace with her precious mother and father Catherine & Melville Mallen along with her dear late siblings Joan Johnson, Cathleen Licek, Eleanor Brooks, and Gregory Mallen. She is survived by Walter Mytko, partner and cherished nieces and nephews including Patrick & Thomas Trubia, Michael Brooks, Colleen Wilson, Susan Carentz, Bob Johnson, Edward Mallino, Kimbalee Tagliamonte, Kevin & Kristina Mallen. Gail was a greater listener who shared laughter and love with family, friends and everyone she met throughout life. A Mass will be planned at St. Joseph’s Church in Ronkonkoma, NY. A graveside ceremony at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery and Celebration of Life details to follow in 2024.
