Fred A. Ostrick

Fred A. Ostrick passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 85 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Fred is survived by Charlotte Braune, his loving longtime partner of 39 years, his children Christine Swan(Robert), Fred J.(Elyse), Ellen Donofrio(Frank), John(Cathy), Charlotte’s children Patricia Braune, Karen Behringer(Kevin), Linda Cunningham(John) and Michael Braune. Grandfather to Eric, Taylor, Justin, Madison, Brandon, Gillian, Joleigh, Brian, Christopher, Brittany, Juliette, Luke, Kylr, Mikaela, Shea and Jace. Also survived by his brother Joseph(Josephine). He is predeceased by his parents Fred and Nancy Ostrick, and his wife Sally.

Fred was born in Newark, NJ, grew up in the bronx and enjoyed many summers with family in Eastport. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his New York Yankees. After retiring from the New York City Fire Department after 32 years, he enjoyed pursing his passion for hunting and fishing in Alaska, Canada and from his home in waymart, Pennsylvania.
