Florence E. O'Brien

Florence E. O’Brien (O’Connor) died peacefully on April 26th, 2023. Florence was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 11th, 1931, predeceased by William O’Connor and Florence O’Connor (Bradley). Loving wife to James W. O’Brien. Florence and James were together in marriage for 66 years and went on to have three adoring children, Colleen O’Brien of Glenmoore, PA, James O’Brien Jr. of Sayville, NY, and William (Lisa) of Branford, CT; five grandchildren, Julia Jalbert (Eric), Aedan O’Brien, Molly O’Brien, Caitlin O’Brien, and Erin O’Brien; and blessed with one great-grandchild, Archie Jalbert. Florence worked at Teachers Federal Credit Union until her retirement in 1986. After retirement she and her loving husband James enjoyed traveling (especially to Ireland) with friends and family. She loved her family, and everything Irish: music, dance and the occasional Guinness up until her death.

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always on your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain falls soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
