Walsh, Edward P. resident of Lake Ronkonkoma passed away surrounded by his family on February 3, 2023, at the age of 72. Born in New York City, New York on November 1, 1950 to Edward P. Walsh and Evelyn (McGregor) Walsh. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan of 45 years, his adoring children Jennifer, Steven, and Kristi; his cherished grandchildren Kaylie and Portia; his dear sisters Sharon and Deborah; and many loving sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Ed worked for 40 dedicated years as an airline sales manager at SAS and Air New Zealand. He was a hard working man at the office and at home, always building home projects for his family to make memories that would last a lifetime. Ed was an avid kayaker and a valued member of the Sebago Canoe Club, where he made lifelong friendships. He also enjoyed bike riding, hiking, golfing and exploring nature. Making memories with his family on plenty of outings and vacations all over the country. He made so many good friends along the way.
A loving and devoted pawpaw, he was always filled with so much joy from his children and two granddaughters. He was a selfless man with a kind and gentle heart that left a smile on everyone’s face. He was always radiating positivity and happiness everywhere he went.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Edward P. Walsh on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 5:00pm at Moloney’s Lake Ronkonkoma Funeral Home, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY.
