Edward H. Fielbig

Edward H. Fielbig, Sr., age 96, passed away peacefully on June 23,2023 in Stony Brook, New York.
Edward was born in Brooklyn, New York, in the year of 1923 to The Late Harold Fielbig and The Late Rose Fairclough. Edward married The Late Eileen Theresa Hald on April 3, 1948 at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, New York.
Edward lived a rich and full life. Edward successfully graduated years of school at St. Edmunds Catholic School, Cunningham Junior High School and James Madison High School until the year of 1944. After graduating High School Edward served our country in the United States Army Air Corps, Leyte, Philippines; M.P. Guam from 1944 to 1948. He received honorable Discharge, Good Conduct, and Asiatic Pacific Theater.
Edward then was employed as a Milkman for 38 years at Elmhurst Dairy. He enjoyed Baseball, collecting coins and doing Cross-word Puzzles.
Edward is survived by his children, Patricia (Richard) Koster, Edward H. Fielbig, and Mark R. Fielbig.
Beloved grandfather of Michelle (John) Stoll, Melissa Koster, Trisha Koster, Edward (Erin) Fielbig, Kristin (Scott) Grant, Nicole (Tony) Spath, Ashley (Jon) Adamec, Mark (Jessica) Fielbig.
Cherished great-grandfather of Frankie, Gianna, Adrianna, Alyssa, Jackie, Christian, Jack, Emma, Alexander, and Michael Jon.
Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, 27th of June, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, 27th of June, 2023 at 6:00 PM.
Funeral service for Edward will be held on Wednesday, 28th of June, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park at 11:00 AM in Farmingdale, New York.
