Dixon, Donald W. of Holbrook passed away suddenly at the age of 63. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 29 years, Carmella. Two step daughters, Teresa (Anthony) and Christine (David). Donald is the cherished grandpa to Nicolas, Ryan, Anthony, Natalie, Ava, Dominic and Angelina. The beloved son of Edith and the late Kenneth; caring brother to Jimmy (Mary Rose), David(Kathy) and Charlie. A beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, loved dearly by his many in- laws.
Donald was a devoted registered nurse who took great pride in his work. He treated his patients with care and compassion, and was highly valued and respected by his colleagues.
Donald’s greatest passion in life was his family. He loved spending time with his wife and grandkids more than anything. Endless weekends of grilling, playing in the pool, practicing sports, outings and vacations; endless memories to be cherished.
Donald had a positive attitude and would do anything to help others. He had a radiant smile and a kind heart that touched many lives. An angel to all who knew him; a new light now shines from the heavens above.
Visitation will be at Moloney Holbrook Funeral Home on Tuesday August 11th from 10-12pm. The family will be going to the cemetery privately. The family of Don thanks you for your kind expression of sympathy during these extreme and difficult times.
