Domingo Yanez hijo de Toribia Yanez fue el menor de 5 hermanos, 3 varones y 2 hembras. Nació un 4 de agosto de 1954 en Mercedes de Oriente, Departamento de La Paz, Honduras.
Padre de 4 hijos: Maximino Yanez, Efraín Yanez, Ledyn Yanez, Arnold Yanez

Emigró de Honduras hacia los estados unidos en el año 1986 con sueños de una mejor vida para el y para sus hijos en Honduras.
Durante sus primeros años en Estados Unidos vivió en la área de Nueva York donde lucho en trabajos de limpieza, construcción, y en el año 1991 en un fotoestudio.
Aquí fue donde se re-encontró con una joven que conocía desde su tiempo como un joven en Honduras. Su futura esposa, Maria Elicia Euceda, frecuentemente revelaba sus fotos en el mismo estudio donde Domingo era empleado.
Despues de dos años de noviazgo, Domingo y Maria tomaron el paso hacia el matrimonio. En el año 1994, tuvieron su primer y único hijo como pareja, Arnold Yánez. Durante los proximos años Domingo Yanez, lucho trabajando en diferentes tipos de trabajos, para proveerle una vida mejor a su hijo y esposa. Después de otro tiempo, su nueva familia continuaba a expandir. Durante los próximos años, lucho por la inmigración a los estados unidos de sus cuñadas Digna Morales, Santos Euceda, su hijastra Mary Zavala y su hijo Efrain Yanez. En los años de los 2000, logro su meta de crear su propia compañía de construcción. En el año 2003, Domingo se acepto a Jesús como su único y suficiente salvador y formo parte de la congregación de la Iglesia pentecostal El Mana. Se bautizo el 5 de octubre del 2002, fungió como presidente de caballero, vice presidente de los caballeros, secretario-tesorero de caballeros, director de misiones, participante de diferente actividades congrecionales
En el año 2011, Domingo realizo su sueño de hacerse un ciudadano Americano.
Uno de sus sueños era ver a su Esposa que fuese ciudadana Americana. Le impulso y ayudo a cumplir este sueño felicitándola con fuerte abrazo, un beso y una foto (siendo gran fanático de las fotografías).
Un abuelo muy amoroso con todos sus nietos, Maynor y Edras que crecieron junto a el en su casa de habitación.
Sus otros nietos quienes viven en Tegucigalpa, Honduras llegaban a visitarlo cuando el iba de viaje a este dicho pais. Siempre los sacaba a comer baliadas o cualquier golosinas. Todos sus nietos fueron sus comsentidos, en especial sus 2 nietos mas pequeños. A Edras que siempre lo llevaba a comer chicken nuggets, y a Ivana a quien le compraba donuts y fresas.
Amante a la musica acustica, con acordion, su instrumento favorito el acordion con el cual practicaba algunos dias.
Amante del deporte, y amante de las fotografías. Su comida favorita: Frijoles con carne de cerdo y rellenos y carne de cerdo con arroz
Era una alegría verlo con su sombrero.
En el año 2023, con su ciudadanía Americana, Domingo realizo otro de sus sueños la cual era proveerle la residencia Americana a su hijastra Zuni Zavala y sus nietos, Lili, Daniel, Genesis e Ivana para proveerles la oportunidad de crearse una vida mejor. Quedando en proceso la residencia de sus hijos Efraín Yánez, Ledin yanez y Sobeyda Euceda lamentablemente no alcanzo ver este sueño de ver a todos sus hijos juntos en este país. Desde el 1986, Domingo por medio de sus esfuerzos y su determinación realizo la creación de una familia entera.
En el año 2020 comenzó el proceso del tratamiento de sus riñones, y comenzó a practicarse los diálisis, complicandose desde del mes de febrero del presente año donde su salud comenzó a deteriorarse perdiendo su batalla el dia miércoles 21 de agosto a las 6:20 de la tarde, donde entrego su alma al creador.
Domingo es recordado como una persona que le tenia gran amor a su familia y siempre queria lo mejor para ellos, a veces a grandes sacrificios de el mismo.
Grande gratitud de nuestras vidas, su esposa Maria Elicia Yanez, sus hijos, hijas y nietos.
Familia y amistades hacia a Domingo Yanez. dejando un gran vacio en nuestros corazones.

Domingo Yanez, son of Toribia Yanez was the youngest of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was born on August 4th, 1954 in the city of Mercedes de Oriente, La Paz, Honduras.
He was the father of 4 children: Maximino Yanez, Efraín Yanez, Ledyn Yanez, Arnold Yanez

Domingo immigrated from Honduras to the United States in the year 1986, with dreams of a better life for himself and for his children in Honduras.
During his first few years in the U.S, he called the New York Metropolitan area his home, where he struggled working in jobs such as cleaning, construction, and in the year 1991, in a photo studio.
This was where he was re-united eith a young woman that he knew from his youth back in Honduras. His future wife, Maria Yanez, frequently would have her camera rolla processed at the same studio where Domingo was employed.
After two years of dating, Domingo and Maria took a step towards matrimony. En the year 1994, they had their first and only child as a married couple, Arnold Yanez. During the next few years, Domingo Yanez worked hard in different types of jobs to provide a better life for his son and wife. After some time, his family continued to expand. Over the next few years, he fought for the migration of his sister-in-laws, Digna Morales and Santos Euceda and his step-daughters, Mary Zavala and his son Efrain Yanez. In the 2000's, he achieved his goal of creating his own construction company. In the year 2003, Domingo accepted Jesus as his only savior and formed part of the local congregation of Iglesia Pentecostal El Mana.
He was baptized on October 5th, 2002 and served his church as President, Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer for the men's congregation. He also served as Director of Missions and was an active participant of many congregational activities.
In the year 2011, Domingo achieved his dream of becoming an American citizen.
One of his dreams was to see his wife become an American citizen. He was the motivating force for his wife to achieve this and the day of her ceremony, Domingo congratulated his wife with a loving embrace, a kiss and a photo (being a great fan of photographs).
A loving grandparent with his grandkids Maynoe and Edras who grew up together with him in the same house.
His other grandkids that lived in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, would arrive to visit him whenever Domingo would visit. He would frequently take them to eat the traditional Honduran foods, such as baleadas, among other snacks. No expense was spared for his grandkids. He could always be seen taking his grandson, Edras Yanez, to places such as McDonald's for his favorite meal, chicken nuggets as well as his granddaughter, Ivana, for her favorite Donuts and strawberries.
A lover of acoustic and accordion music, his favorite instrument was the accordion, which he frequently played.
A lover of soccer and a lover of photos. His favorite foods were traditional Honduran staples such as pork and beans and pork and rice.
He would often be seen wearing his sombrero.
In the year 2023, with his American Citizenship, Domingo realized another one of his dreams, which was to provide permanent residency for his step daughter Zuni Zavala and his grandchildren Lili, Daniel, Genesis and Ivana so that they could have a better life. From the year 1986, Domingo, through his hard work and determination, was able to form an entire generation.
After a long battle with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, Domingo began to experience complications related to this disease, succumbing to heart failure on August 21st at approximately 6:20 PM, where he gave his spirit to the Lord, surrounded by loving family and friends.
Domingo is remembered as someone with great love for his family and would always want the best for them, sometimes with great sacrifices.
He leaves behind his wife, Maria Elicia Yanez as well as his sons, daughters and grandchildren.
His family thanks God for giving his family these 70 years of life. They have the faith and hope that one day they will be reunited in heaven.
