DOLORES MAE JANUS

On June 21st, 2021, Dolores Mae Janus was called home by her late husband, John Janus Jr., Born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 14th, 1934, to Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Panek, Dolores was a graduate of Notre Dame Highschool, a switchboard receptionist at Edelman & Company, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was reunited with her parents, husband, friends, and a sibling she never had the opportunity to meet. Dolores is survived by her children Marianne and Keith and daughter-in-law Barb and remains a beloved grandmother to Stephanie and Kristin, whose humor, vitality, and entrepreneurial spirit she adored. They will continue to honor her legacy by living with love, faith, and a sense of adventure until they are reunited once again.

A mass will be held to celebrate the life of Dolores Mae Janus on Saturday, June 26th, 2021, at 9:15 am at the Church of St. Patrick located at 400 Main Street, Huntington, N.Y. 11743. An additional Mass will be held for close family and friends in Chicago, Il, with more details to follow.
