Obituary

Boccafola, Della, born on May 7, 1912 in Co. Galway, Ireland, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2010. A long time Huntington resident, she was the devoted wife of Amato, who died in 1998. She was also a loving mother to her son, Msgr. Kenneth E. Boccafola, and her two daughters, Roberta Sherlock (John) and Adele Hoffman (William). She adored her 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Visiting is on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at Moloneys Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd. (Rte. 111) Hauppauge. Religious service Thursday 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by her son at St. Thomas More R.C. Church on Kings Hwy., Hauppauge on Friday at 11 am. Interment St. Patricks Cemetery, Huntington.
