Cecilia Louidice

Cecilia Krasinski Louidice was born on December 19, 1927 and passed away at almost 91 years old on November 27, 2018. Born in Newark, New Jersey to a family of 2 sisters and 1 brother, Cecilia grew up in Brooklyn, NY. An extremely brilliant student, she graduated early and became an executive secretary at DC Andrews in NYC. At the age of 20 she met & fell in love with a handsome young sailor named Vincent Louidice, They married in 1948, moved to Long Island & had 2 children, Cecelia provided a happy & loving home for her family, with lots of love & laughter. Her husband Vincent (Jimmy) was the love of her life. In 1990, after 42 years of marriage, he passed away. Cecelia was left broken hearted but carried on bravely as a devoted mother to Christine & Vincent Jr. She lived in the same home in North Bellmore that she bought with her husband Jimmy for 65 years. Cecelia suffered a stroke at age 84, but recovered. In spite of physical disabilities & the loss of her beloved son, she made the best of her final years, listening to her favorite books, cheering on the Yankees. Survived by her daughter Christine, son in law Donald & granddaughter Hilary. Cecilia was loved by her nieces & nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and fierce sense of loyalty & family.
