Cathie was one of eleven children and was born to Mary and Jeremiah O’Halloran who immigrated from Ireland.
Cathie was an incredible mother and took so much pride in her children. She spent most of her life in Long Beach, NY enjoying bike rides on the boardwalk, concerts on the beach and time with friends and family. She will be remembered for the love of her Irish heritage and her stubborn attitude. Her incredibly kind and generous soul will never be replaced or forgotten. Our mother’s love for music, dancing and gatherings will make it hard for us to gather without her.
She was the heart of our family and we don’t know how to live without her. We can only hope we are as strong as she was and do everything to keep her values, traditions and love with us.
Cathie is survived by her always awesome children Denise Zurowski and her husband Jash, Craig Haskins and his wife Allison, Jeannine Harker and her husband Kevin, Jennifer Thorne and her husband Ryan, Meghan Haskins and her lover Chris and Maureen Harker and her husband Brian. Her spirit will shine through her 12 grandchildren John, Andrew, Delaney, Bobbi, Aidan, Meghan, Kieran, Ronan, Brendan, Brianna, Michael and Jack. She is also survived by her loving sisters Eileen, Denise, Frani, Sheila, Bernadette and Joanne. Cathie will be sorely missed by her extended family Betty, the McCormack and Haskins families. Cathleen is welcomed by her late siblings Joseph, Pat, Jerry, and Kevin.
A celebration of Cathie’s life will take place at a later date when life permits us to all be together.
