Catherine L. Ruggero

Catherine L. Ruggero of Ronkonkoma, NY passed peacefully away in her sleep on December 30, 2023. She was 75 years old.

Professionally a beloved registered nurse, who’s patients became family. Catherine raised two children as a single mother and worked hard to provide her children the best opportunities she could. She was always active in her church and loved helping others.

Catherine is predeceased in death by her husband John Ruggero, parents Catherine and John Healy and her cousins Carol Swedberg and Bob Slavik. Cathy is survived by her brother John Healy, sister Maryellen Healy. Her beloved son, John Ruggero, his wife Christine, her daughter Theresa and her husband Derek.

Between both John and Theresa, Catherine was blessed with 4 beautiful granddaughters who were the absolute apple of her eye: Alexandra & Gianna Ruggero and Gabriella & Julianna Jatko.

They invite you to join them for a visitation on Thursday, January 4th from 2-4 or 7-9 and a funeral service on Friday January 5th at 10am at Molony Funeral Home in Ronkonkoma.
