Catherine B. Devivo

Catherine Bianca Curatolo DeVivo, 97, of Westhampton, NY, died November 15, 2019, at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY.

She was born January 25, 1922, in Manhattan, NY; daughter of the late Benedict and Rosalia Anello Curatolo.

Catherine married Vincent N. DeVivo on January 26, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY. They resided for many years in Baldwin, NY.

Catherine enjoyed her involvement in the Baldwin Garden Club & Homemakers Association. She and Vincent were always involved in the neighborhood progressive dinners at holiday time. Also the Sunday Brunches shared with their friends and neighbors.

Above all, her love was her family, time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children and their spouses. Benedict DeVivo and Veronica Canalizo DeVivo of Odessa, FL; Philip DeVivo and Karen Rivera DeVivo of St. Cloud, FL; MaryRose DeVivo Carroll and James Carroll of Whitesboro, NY; and Christopher DeVivo and Caryn Farash DeVivo of Speonk, NY.

Her 10 cherished grandchildren Derek DeVivo, Matthew DeVivo and his wife Amy McKendrick DeVivo, Kaleena DeVivo Greenberg and her husband Michael Greenberg, Kyle DeVivo and his wife Meghan Brennan DeVivo, Kristina Carroll, Kathleen Carroll Kunkel, Colleen Carroll Mastin and her husband Richard Mastin, Bryan DeVivo, Kevin DeVivo Liotta-DeVivo and his husband Brian Liotta-DeVivo, and Jamie DeVivo.

Her 11 great grandchildren Peyton DeVivo, Presley DeVivo, Liam DeVivo, Ella DeVivo, Logan Greenberg, Ziva Greenberg, Weston DeVivo, Jack Kunkel, Ryan Kunkel, Benjamin Mastin, and Samantha Mastin.

She is survived by her brother Benedict Curatolo of Queens, NY. Also, many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Anthony Curatolo, Viola Curatolo Vivona, Joseph Curatolo, and her infant daughter RoseMary DeVivo.

The funeral will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 25 Ocean Ave, Center Moriches, NY. Interment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, Farmingdale, NY. Calling hours are on Tuesday November 19, 2019, from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Moloney-Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Center Moriches, NY.

In memory of Catherine, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a charity close to her heart.
