Carol A. Loehr

d. October 1, 2024

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Carol Loehr, a loving devoted wife, mother, Nanny, Great Nanny and friend to all whose lives she touched on October 1, 2024.

Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 “and be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”

Carol is survived by her husband Frank Loehr. Her son Michael Loehr and daughter Jennifer Torcivia. Her 5 grandchildren Jessica Loehr, Courtney Loehr, Adrianna Torcivia, Joseph Torcivia, Melanie Torcivia and soon to be great grandchild Valentina Rose Torcivia. Her brother Richard Whalley and his wife Barbara and 2 children Richard and Brian Whalley and several other family members. All of which she loved and touched deeply.

Carol was born on May 26, 1949 and grew up in Copaigue NY and later moved to Ronkonkoma with her husband Frank. We were recently blessed to celebrate her 75th birthday, as Carol was ill with pulmonary fibrosis. She was taken from us way too fast. She was the most loving, caring, compassionate woman to every soul she came across. She had an amazing sense of humor and she loved her family fiercely, especially her grandchildren. She put everyone’s needs before her own and was always there for you when you needed her. She loved with her whole heart and then some. She enjoyed trips to Montauk with her husband. She loved the beach! She enjoyed spending time in her gazebo that Frank built for her overlooking her gardens. She worked many years as a Surgical Coordinator for Long Island Vitreo-Retinal Consultants in Hauppauge NY and had retired.

Words cannot express how much she was loved by everyone who met her and she will be dearly missed every minute of the day. It was a blessing and a privilege to know her.

Please join us in a “Sea of Blue” to celebrate Carols life. As her favorite color was Aqua Blue and she loved the Sea! (Wear something blue)
