Carmine Festa Jr, age 78, passed away on June 21, 2022, with his loving wife and children at his side. He grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from Martin Van Buren High School. He was a veteran drill sergeant of the United States Army and retired from Muller Martini Corporation after 30 years. Carmine was an avid golfer and had an appreciation for classic cars, including his 1967 GTO. He is predeceased by his father Carmine Festa Sr and his mother Frances Festa (Volberg). Carmine is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Frances Festa, his children Diana (Philip) Cavalcante, Suanne (Thomas) Waldron, Deborah (Andrew) Buccilli, and Christopher (Lauren) Festa, and beloved grandpa of 7 grandchildren: Matthew, Katelyn, Kelly, Andrew Jr, Liliana, Makenna, and Aubree. He was a beloved brother to Frank (Anita) Festa and Stanley (Nancy) Festa and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 26th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Moloney’s Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma and mass services will be held on Monday June 27th at 10 am at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary in Centereach. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation at www.curemeso.org.
