Betty Jean Schrader Cavallaro born 12/3/1940 in Princeton WV departed to her new spiritual home on 2/11/2025. Betty warmed the lives of many that she knew and loved, including family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. She joins her loving husband, Samuel Anthony Cavallaro and great granddaughter, Finley White. Leaving behind her heartbroken children Michael, Joseph (Katie) and Teresa (Tim) McNichols. Her three grandchildren Sean (Sarah), Kelli (Daniel) White, Kaysi and eight cherished great grandchildren Eli, Jude, Olive, Lilah, Remy, Ivy, Harvey, Wade and one unnamed soul yet to be born. She leaves behind her loving brothers Billy and Jerry and joins her brothers Jimmy, Richard and sisters Patsy and Nancy. She leaves behind her extended Cavallaro family Frank (Alma), Sal, and Theresa, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty smiled, laughed, loved and cherished her family and friends. She retired from the Suffolk County Probation Office at the young age of 69 and lived her final 14 years on Long Island and in Peachtree City Georgia. She was a great cook and loved nothing more than sharing her meals with family. She learned to cook the "Sauce" from her Italian mother-in-law and it is made today by her daughter Teresa and all her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading a book, playing ping-pong, going for walks, and spending time with family and friends.
Betty's departure was not foreseen. She was a spunky, life filled woman til the day that she left. Her last words were "I love you too" spoken faintly but unmistakably heard. Your attendance is gift enough please join us at her Celebration of Life.
