Arturo Valentin, 65, of Mexico City, Mexico and a New Yorker at heart, succumbed to covid-19, he fought until his last breath at Stonybrook Hospital sorrounded in Spirit and heart by his family on April 30, 2020.
Arturo is survived by his sons Arturo, Andrew and daughters Adriana and Michelle. Mother Sara; siblings Lidia, Antonio, Gerardo and Sara and many loving grand children (Allyson, Gabriela, Aaron and Sofia), grand-nieces/nephews (Alberto, Abygail, Anabella, Alaina, Brianna, Alexander and Samantha ), nieces and newphews and extended family. Arturo was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friendly to everyone.
Arturo loved life and his job, he cared for each and everyone of his clients. He always tried to help everyone that needed it. He will be remembered for his unfailing work ethic and the way he touched the lives of many immigrant families, his own family and friends with his unconditional love, generosity and kindness. Through out his life, Dad fought many battles beating cancer 8 years ago. Life was kind to him giving him a second chance in life to enjoy his family and friends. He traveled, ate and shared all that he could with the people he loved. He will forever be missed.

However, because of the current circumstances and wake guidelines, as much as we appreciate any flower arrangments to honor our father it has been strongly suggested to forward them to his home instead of the Funeral Home.
