August A. "Augie" Vrondis

Vrondis, August (Augie) of Hauppauge, NY on October 31, 2018 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Marybeth (Dave) Holdorf. Cherished Pop to Elizabeth and David. Dear brother of Irene (Joe) Kissane and brother-in-law to Charles (Margaret), Diane and Bob (Kathy) Padala. Loving uncle, cousin and dear friend to so many. Augie is pre-deceased by his parents, Emmy and Gus and his infant son , August Charles. A proud graduate of Xavier High School and St. John’s University. He was a CPA having been self-employed for over 50 years and respected by his many clients. Augie was an avid tennis player, a huge Mets fan and enjoyed traveling. Reposing Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd. (Rte.111), Hauppauge where a religious service will be held on Sunday 3PM. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:45 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Hauppauge, NY. Interment following St. John of God Cemetery, Central Islip, NY. Visiting Saturday 7-9PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
